Photo tracking solution PixTrakk—
launched a year ago by LTU Technologies, PixWays and TNS Media Intelligence (now Kantar Media)—says it has a firm foothold in the French photo-agency market.
The company has signed some 40 agencies, including Getty Images, Le Figaro Photo and Picturetank, to the service that monitors more than 1,000 print publications. In July, PixTrakk plans to launch a Web site monitoring service.
PixTrakk uses image-recognition technology by LTU, whose algorithms have been integrated into both commercial and government solutions for media intelligence and advertisement tracking, brand and copyright protection, law enforcement activities, site search for eCommerce and stock photography, and mobile applications.
